I understand anxiety and depression are very common thing these days it must be due to all the stress out there. There aren't too many books that tackle the problem the way P.P Brennan does it. Let's not forget he tackle obsession which which is plaguing the nation. We don't need to look any further than obesity to see the effect of obsession. This is a great read and a good gift if you know of someone who suffers from depression.
Emotional Healing is everything you want in a book to help you recover from depression, anxiety and obsession. It is clear, concise and straight to the point. He doesn't waste the reader's time with irrelevant fluff and filler.
It is filled with useful information and real world techniques that prove to be very powerful in recovering from emotional distress. He writes from the perspective of someone who has suffered badly from depression, anxiety and obsession and come out the other side emotionally healthy.
As a fellow author in the depression industry and a fellow previous sufferer I can recommend this book with confidence. I believe that if adopted, the techniques within will significantly help anyone with depression, and anxiety.

Being an avid scholar of the mind for the past few years, most everything I've ever read points to the mind and your emotions as the first place to start when trying to overcome illness. This book gives a good overview on different remedies, therapies and natural exercises you can use to help get your emotions under control... your control.
There were a few typos in the digital version of this book but I didn't find them distracting. While brief, this book was full of relevant info and exercises. The author has clearly experienced some extensive emotional pain in her life because of how she addresses scenarios you might encounter if you haven't already and honestly shares what worked for her and what didn't. I am an intuitive life coach, Reiki master and life coach and I routinely coach clients through emotional pain they have repressed, so this information is very useful for me. I would recommend this book to others who are interested in an intro to emotional healing.
I've always been an emotional person and I look for anything that will help me and this book did just that. It described in detail about therapies and meditations. What particularly intrigued me was the exercises. There were so many exercises and techniques to help deal with many emotional and spiritual issues. In the end, it's all about life's purpose. Obtain a better quality of life by picking up this book. Recommended!
I have been collecting enlightening books to help keep me motivated and on track when I get depressed and lose focus. This book was full of truths as I have already learned many of these lessons myself although I still made many highlights and will keep it handy. I liked how brief and to the point it was because when you are in a fragile state, you do not want to read a bunch of scientific drawn out analysis.
The only thing I did not like was all the literary mistakes. It was like the incomplete and unedited rough draft, yet I still paid the full price for it. It would say "see diagram below" but there was no diagram. There were also several grammatical mistakes and if you are reading a book regarding OCD, that could be enough to make the person stop reading... but I stuck with it to the end.
I will definitely recommend this book to a few people I know who could use it.

For it to come from within, you need to grasp a better understanding of what you're going through or why you're feeling the way the way you are. This book offers security because it states that there are numerous options for you to choose from on your path to being emotionally healed.

You'll also find several other techniques like Buddhist Awareness Techniques and Meditation techniques that can help you identify and focus on the positive things that you need to do.
